Eight days before the November 3rd midterm elections, the National Action Network Middle Tennessee Chapter filled Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church for a Voter Brigade Rally, and NAN Founder and President Rev. Al Sharpton came to the Nashville area to deliver the charge. Elected officials, faith leaders, and community advocates from across Middle Tennessee gathered for an evening of organizing and mobilization built on one message: we vote, and we protect the vote.
From the podium, Rev. Sharpton stressed the importance of exercising our right to vote, particularly in Tennessee, where voter participation and protecting voting rights remain critical. The rally was organized by Chapter President Sheryl Huff, who worked closely with NAN National Field Director Rev. Deves Toon to bring the room together, and hosted by Rev. Dr. Howard E. Jones Jr. and the Fairfield church family, who opened their doors to the movement.
Joined by local elected officials, faith leaders, and community advocates from across Middle Tennessee mobilizing ahead of this critical election.
