Coming to a City Near You
Artificial intelligence is already reshaping jobs, education, healthcare, and the way we access government and information. The National Action Network AI Fluency Initiative makes sure our communities are not left behind. We meet people where they are and teach the basics of AI and the tools to use it, in plain language, with no experience required.
We launched the initiative just a few months ago, and it is already on the move. Over the past couple of months we have taken the program on the road, and now we are looking to come to a city near you. From church halls to community centers, our goal is simple: close the digital divide and put the power of these tools in the hands of the people.
What artificial intelligence is, what it can and cannot do, and why it matters for your family, your work, and your community.
Hands-on time with the everyday AI tools people are using right now, and how to get started safely and confidently.
Practical ways to use AI for jobs, school, small business, and daily life, so the technology works for you.
Susan Hearn leads and facilitates the AI Fluency Initiative events, guiding each session and making sure everyone in the room, from first-time users to the AI-curious, leaves knowing more than when they walked in.
From the front of the room to hands-on time at the table, our sessions bring people together to learn the tools of AI side by side. Rev. Al Sharpton and the movement have taken the program on the road, and this is the kind of hands-on gathering we want to bring to your city next.
A few simple things to have with you so you get the most out of your session and leave with a real, working understanding of AI.
Arrive ready and focused to learn. We start promptly so you do not miss a thing.
Bring your iPhone, iPad, tablet, or laptop so you can follow along hands on.
Make sure your device can connect to WiFi or has cellular data so you are ready to go.
Bring something to write with and leave with a new understanding of AI.
