National Action Network Mourns Freddie Jackson

The National Action Network mourns the passing of legendary R&B singer and committed community activist Freddie Jackson, a dear friend of Rev. Al Sharpton and NAN.

Whether his records were Number 1 or not, Freddie was always in the thick of his community. He was enormously gifted, but never too big to stand with and give back to his community.

A true brother beloved who will be deeply missed. May he rest in peace and power.
